Top Buggy Tour Highlights
Our standard tours last 3–4 hours and follow a similar circuit of highlights:
Macao Beach: A scenic stop at one of the region's few public beaches, famous for its white sand and surf-ready waves.
Taino Cave (Cenote): Explore underground freshwater caves where you can take a dip to wash off the mud.
Cultural Stops: Visit a typical Dominican house to learn about and sample local cacao, coffee, and mamajuana.
Muddy Trails: Navigate private jungle paths and rural roads that are often intentionally muddy for extra fun.
Driver & Passenger Requirements
Driver Age: You must be at least 18 years old to drive a buggy.
Driver's License: A valid driver's license from your home country is required to drive, though most companies may not physically check it at the time of the tour (you are still legally responsible).
Passenger Age: Children can join as passengers, typically with a minimum age requirement of 6 to 12 years old.
Health Restrictions: The tours are very bumpy and are not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with back/neck problems, or people with mobility issues.
